On 16–17 April 2026, AM4BAT project will host the Advanced Battery Manufacturing Workshop at Homerton College, Cambridge, UK. This hybrid event, with both in-person and online participation, brings together leading experts, researchers, and stakeholders to explore cutting-edge advancements in battery technology.

 

The workshop is organised as a shared event with the BATTwin project and the sister project BatCAT – Battery Cell Assembly Twin, creating a unique platform to showcase the latest breakthroughs in solid-state lithium batteries and innovative cell assembly techniques.

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain in-depth insights into the progress, objectives, and results of AM4BAT, with context from BATTwin and BatCAT.
  • Join technical sessions led by experts, highlighting emerging trends in advanced battery manufacturing.
  • Connect with researchers, engineers, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders from the battery community.
  • Participate in discussions on the challenges and opportunities for sustainable, high-performance battery production.
